WHERE fitness MEETS rhythm

What we’re all about

Our classes focus on high-energy, low-impact aerobic experience on specially designed stationary bikes. We blend coaching, strength-building, and energizing music for the best calorie burn.

The workout’s pace and intensity will vary. Sometimes you’re fast pedaling on a “flat road” and other times you’ll be slowly pedaling “uphill”. Ultimately, our classes are meant to be for any fitness level, because you are in control of the resistance knob on the bike.

First timer’s checklist

☑ ARRIVE EARLY

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your first class. This will allow enough time to check you in, set up your bike properly and go over the basics.
Pro tip! Allow for digestion time. Allow one to two hours to digest blended or liquid meals and less than an hour for a small snack, according to your own tolerance level. Always allow more digestion time before this intense exercise!

☑ Dress the part

Rock whatever makes you feel great, especially when you're breaking a sweat. We recommend form-fitting clothes, like sports bra, tank top, and leggings or shorts. Items that won’t mess with your ride by getting tangled or stuck on the bike.
Pro tip! Cushion your seat. If you're not accustomed to riding a bike, the bike seat may feel a little hard on your butt. This feeling goes away before too long, as your gluteal muscles get firmer and adapt to the activity. In the meantime, consider wearing padded bike shorts (available at most sporting goods stores).

☑ PACE YOURSELF

Go at your own pace and don't get swept up in the class enthusiasm and ride beyond your comfort level. Since you control the bike's resistance knob, you can stay within a comfortable exercise zone for your fitness level, while still feeling like you're "keeping up" with the class. Everyone finishes together, and everyone gets a great workout.
Pro tip! Bring water & a towel. Keep yourself cool, hydrated, and comfortable by drinking water and staying clean. If you forget, no sweat! I offer both items in studio.
